The City of Ottawa Archives is participating in a site challenge within the Culture and Heritage Services Branch. The goal of the challenge is to select a project to beautify a part of the site. The staff have chosen to decorate the large fence surrounding the generator with a Yarn Bombing project. The Yarn Bombing will be a row of tulips sitting in grass with the sun shining above. We are looking for volunteers to knit or crochet parts of the project. We are also looking for donations of pink, red, green, yellow, purple and orange acrylic yarns. All shades of coloured yarns are welcomed. All knitting and crocheting will need to be handed in by June 24, 2014.
